…and again!

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008It has finally been verified that Emotional Cities won a silver pencil at the One Show in New York City last Friday!

Saturday, May 10th, 2008From November 1, 2007 until January 6, 2008 Emotional Cities was exhibited at Moderna Museet in Stockholm, alongside the light installation at the high-rise Hötorget buildings in downtown Stockholm. For the exhibition I made this photograph, depicting the buildings (to the right in the picture). The image was printed in the fold-out brochure for the exhibition.

Emotional Cities nominated for awards
Friday, May 9th, 2008Farfar, the advertising agency that helped building this website, was so pleased with the project, that they decided to apply for various awards. Emotional Cities has now been nominated for awards at both the Clio Awards and the One Show.
At the One Show, Emotional Cities is nominated in the category “Interactive - Public Service/Cultural/Educational: Microsites”. The winner will be announced later today at the One Show Festival in New York City. Here you can read what the Swedish magazine Resumé writes about the nominations.
At the Clio Awards, Emotional Cities is nominated in the category “Interactive - Innovative use of technology”. On May 17 the winner will be announced at the Clio Festival in Miami Beach, Florida.
At the Webby Awards in New York City, a “leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet”, Emotional Cities was selected as a Webby Honoree (a special mention), in the category “Netart”.
Emotional Cities also competes in Cannes Lions, a festival held in mid-June.
