Emotional Cities now starts in Seoul, South Korea. Together with Art Center Nabi the project is presented on LED screens at the SK T-Tower, a state of the art skyscraper in central Seoul. Online Emotional Cities is collaborating with Cyworld, a community with around 20 million members. You can see the special event website they made for the project here.
Update: The exhibition in Seoul has been prolonged until March 28.
The light installation in Stockholm will remain connected to the Emotional Cities project until February 29. The property owners and the companies controlling the Hötorget buildings - also the art project’s main sponsors; Vasakronan, AMF Pension, Ramsbury, John Mattson, Fastighetskontoret and Företagarföreningen Hötorgscity - say that they will try to have the light installation come back next year!
På torsdag klockan 19:00 sänds ett inslag om Emotional Cities i programmet “SvD Kultur” på TV8. För den som missar programmet sänds det i repris fyra gånger, samt läggs upp på Svenska Dagbladets hemsida.
On Thursday at 7 p.m. a report about Emotional Cities is broadcasted in the TV show “SvD Kultur” on TV8. For those who miss the show it will be rerun four more times, and published on the website of Svenska Dagbladet.
